Before we begin
A few useful answers.
Know what you are buying, what happens next and where the boundaries are.
What happens after the free conversation?
If IMS can help, we provide a written proposal setting out the deliverables, fee, timing and information needed. Detailed analysis and recommendations are paid work under that agreed scope. There is no obligation to buy equipment or further services.
Can we engage IMS by the hour?
Yes. Senior advisory is C$275 per advisor-hour, with an estimated budget and spending limit agreed in advance. Additional work, or the involvement of a second advisor, requires your approval.
How long does a review take?
For a standard Charging & Storage Review, our target is 10 business days after the site visit and receipt of the required information. Timing for every assignment is confirmed in the proposal.
What is not included in the fees?
Standard fees do not include engineering, legal advice, formal certifications or approvals, equipment or installation. A review does not guarantee insurer acceptance. Travel outside the agreed local service area and specialist services are quoted separately, and scope changes are agreed before extra work begins.
